Itinerary
Day 1. MADRID-AVILA-SALAMANCA
Departure from Madrid our bus Terminal at 8:00 a.m. to Avila, Castilian city which preserves its medieval wall. Free time to know the walled city and old quarter and continuation to Salamanca. Time at leisure to walk through this monumental city and its famous Plaza Mayor. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 2. SALAMANCA-COIMBRA
Breakfast and departure to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to continue via Guarda towards Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 3. COIMBRA-FATIMA-LISBON
Breakfast. Departure to Fatima, important pilgrimage center. Time free to visit the Shrine and afterwards continuation to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of river Tagus. Accommodations. Optional night tour to attend a show of Fado, typical Portuguese songs and music
Day 4. LISBON
Breakfast and accommodations. Morning city sightseeing tour: old Alfama Quarter, Tower of Belem, Monastery of Los Jeronimos, etc. Afternoon at leisure. Optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril.
Day 5. LISBON-CACERES-SEVILLA
Breakfast. Departure to the border with Spain and continuation to Caceres. Time at leisure to know its Plaza Mayor and to walk through the old city and its famous medieval quarter, very well preserved and considered as World Heritage place. Lunch at your own. Continuation southwards to Andalucia and arrival to Sevilla.
Dinner and accommodations.
Day 6. SEVILLA
Half board in the hotel. Morning city tour visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of María Luisa and Plaza de España, with a panoramic sightseeing of the city. Optional Artistic tour including the Royal Alcazar Palace. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7. SEVILLA-RONDA-MARBELLA
Breakfast. Then departure to the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. Free time. Continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodations at Marbella.
Day 8. MARBELLA-FES (Ferry)
Breakfast. Departure to Algeciras or Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Morocco and after customs continuation by motorcoach to the old city of Fes. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 9. FES
Half board. Morning city sightseeing of Fes, visiting the Medersa, the first university of the Islamic world, the old Casbah and its narrow streets, quarter of tanners, the fountain Najerine, the great Medina, considered as a World Heritage site… Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10. FES-MEKNES-MARRAKECH
Breakfast. Departure to Meknes. Panoramic sightseeing tour of this old walled imperial city, with the beautiful gate “Bab El Mansour”, and continuation through the Mid-Atlas mountains towards Marrakech. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 11. MARRAKECH
Half board. Morning city sightseeing tour visiting the Summer Royal Bay Palace, Tombs Saadi, the Koutoubia Tower and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square of great and exotic activity. Afternoon at leisure to continue discovering this exciting city by your own.
Day 12. MARRAKECH-CASABLANCA-RABAT
Breakfast and departure to Casablanca. Panoramic rolling tour of this cosmopolitan city. In the afternoon continuation to Rabat, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Dinner and accommodations.
Day 13. RABAT-TANGIER
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour visiting the outside of Royal Palace, official residence of the King, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan Tower. After the visit departure to Tangier, with a panoramic rolling tour before arriving to the hotel for dinner and accommodations.
Day 14. TANGIER-MARBELLA (Ferry)
Breakfast. Departure to board the ferry and cross back the Strait towards Spain. Arrival to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodations at Marbella.
Day 15. MARBELLA-GRANADA
Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Sightseeing tour including the impressive Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and the Generalife. Dinner and accommodations. Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco.
Day 16. GRANADA-TOLEDO-MADRID
Breakfast and departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. Lunch and city sightseeing throughout its narrow streets and alleys. Continuation back to Madrid. Arrival and end of the services.
