Crossroads Tours International is offering its best-selling small group tours of Turkey at special, off-season prices. The tours provide first-time visitors to Turkey a comprehensive overview of the country’s history, diverse religious and cultural heritage, and its natural wonders. The packages include a 10-day “Discover Turkey” tour; A 9-day “Taste of Turkey” tour; and 6-day “Istanbul & Cappadocia” tour.
“Discover Turkey” Package Includes Transatlantic Flights
The 10-day/9-night tour features the most important examples of Istanbul’s Byzantine and Ottoman legacy; the historic battlefield of Gallipoli; the legendary cities of Troy and Pergamum; the remarkably well-preserved Roman city of Ephesus; and the shrine of “Mother Mary”, believed to be the home where the mother of Jesus Christ spent her last years of life.
Other highlights include a visit to the renowned spa of Pamukkale, with it glistening “petrified waterfalls”; Konya, home of the “Whirling Dervishes”; and a visit to Cappadocia, the region whose mountainous, fairytale-like landscape, hidden valleys, villages, and caves were the refuge of the early Christians.
The tour price of $1,885 per person, double occupancy, includes: roundtrip Economy Class airfare from New York; airport transfers; accommodations at 4-Star hotels; most meals, transportation by mini/midi bus; services of an English-speaking tour escort/guide; entrance fees to sites visited; and hotel taxes and service charges. Departure taxes, security and other fees, and applicable fuel surcharge (totaling $343.60) are included in the airfare.
The air-inclusive tour departure dates are November 8, 2014; December 13, 2014; February 20, 2015; and March 7 and 21, 2015. The tour is also available on a land-only basis for $1,050 per person, double occupancy.
