Quick Overview
During this 10-day tour, you will see and learn about Istanbul’s most acclaimed cultural and historical treasures. You will also visit the remarkably preserved monuments of Roman glory in Ephesus and the impressive Hellenic necropolis in Hierapolis – and experience the glistening, petrified waterfalls of Pamukkale, the mysticism of Konya, and Cappadocia’s awe-inspiring landscape and early Christian cave dwellings.
Itinerary
Day 1 (Saturday) Depart from your home country
Day 2 (Sunday) ISTANBUL
Arrival to Istanbul Transfer to Hotel
Day 3 (Monday) Istanbul To Ephesus Via Izmir by Plane Ancient Ephesus Full day Sightseeing (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Early in the morning pick up from hotel transfer to Istanbul airport for flight to Izmir. Arrive at Izmir International Airport where you will be met and driven to the “House of Mother Mary” situated at the top of the Mount of the Nightingale. This is where Mary is said to have lived the last years of her life. After your visit, you continue to ancient Ephesus, considered to be the world’s best preserved ancient sites, whose remains date back to the third millennium B.C. Highlights of your walking tour include, theatre, Celsius Library, Agora, Odeon, Domitian’s Temple, and the Trajan Fountain. After lunch you’ll visit a carpet-weaving co-op for a close up look at the how the Turkish carpets are made by hand. Proceed to: Temple of Artemis (Diana) it was one of the seven ancient wonders of the world. We will also have fashion show at leather outlet center. Stay Overnight in Kusadasi. (B, L, D)
Day 4 (Thuesday) Kusadasi to Pamukkale (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
After breakfast you depart for Pamukkale, famed for its healing thermal/mineral baths and amazing, snow-white calcium terraces referred to as “petrified waterfalls”. After lunch, you visit Hierapolis, where you’ll see its magnificently preserved Necropolis, main street, and gates. Stay Overnight in Pamukkale. (B, L, D)
Day 5 (Wednesday) Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia
Early this morning you depart for Konya, where you visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic poet and Islamic spiritual leader, who founded the sect of ”Whirling Dervishes”, and the 13th century Seljuk caravanserai, “Sultanhan”. After lunch at a local Turkish restaurant, you continue to Cappadocia. (B, L, D)

An impressive day will start with Dervent valley. Then we keep going on with Pasabag’s “fairy chimneys” where you can feel the mystic of Fairy Chimneys. We will break at Avanos center of terracotta art. Ceramic art dated back to the 3000 BC in the area and survived from to generations. A visit to ceramic & tile center to see how the ceramics made by hand. After lunch we visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Icons in Cappadocia. Soft rocks of Cappadocia from the clefts carved out to form stables, churches, and monasteries. We will enjoy the day by taking a look to the Goreme Valley from next to the Uchisar Rock-Castle. Proceed to Under Ground city of Ozkonak or Cardak Transfer to airport Kayseri/ Nevsehir for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival to Istanbul Transfer to your hotel stay overnight in Istanbul (B,L,D)

Day 7 (Friday ) Istanbul old city Tour
Byzantine and Ottoman Heritage Tour (2010 European Capital of Culture – (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
After breakfast at your hotel, you begin a full day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. Highlights include a visit to the illustrious Topkapi Palace (harem section is optional), the ancient Roman Hippodrome (site of chariot races) and the Hagia Sophia, the Byzantine church that was converted to a mosque in 15th century. You will also visit the famed “Blue Mosque” and the Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest covered bazaar, where you’ll have free time to discover some of the nearly 4,000 tiny shops that line its maze of passageways. Day 8 Istanbul back to Home
Free time and leisure until transfer to Airport for flight back home. End of our services. You can add Istanbul extension. B
