Itinerary
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL ISTANBUL
On arrival to Istanbul, meeting at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
DAY 2 – ISTANBUL FULL DAY TOUR
Today we will explore the ancient Istanbul and explore of the remains of Byzantine and Ottoman Empire. We are going to start with Topkapi Palace (harem section is optional), ancient Roman Hippodrome (center of the chariot races) and keep going with the Hagia Sophia, the Byzantine church which was converted to a mosque in 15th century. We will continue our ancient Istanbul tour with the Blue Mosque and finally we will stop at Grand Covered Bazaar and will have free time to discover 4000 tiny shops in the passageways of the world’s largest covered bazaar. Overnight stay in Istanbul. (B, L)
DAY 3 – ISTANBUL CAPPADOCIA
Take flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport early in the morning. On arrival to Cappadocia, we drive to Goreme. Exciting Cappadocia tour is going to start with Dervent valley. Then keep going to Pasabag “fairy chimneys”, where the voice of the wind harmonizes with songs of the fairies. From here we pause at Avanos, center of terracotta art. After lunch, we visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of frescoes painted in the volcanic carved churches. In the afternoon, will visit the carpet corporative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand. We complete the tour with a panoramic point to get the general view of Goreme Valley at down below the Uchisar Rock-Castle. (B, L)
DAY 4 – CAPPADOCIA OPTIONAL Hot Air Balloon (04:45am to 08:15am)
Today will be another mystical day, Early in the morning 04:45 AM join Hot air Balloon Return to hotel Today will be another mystical day, we will start with a visit Red valley through Cavusin village and discover rock-cut churches and hike 2 km Ancient Cavusin was already abandoned several decades ago due to avalanches. Lunch will be selection of Turkish Cuisine. In the afternoon drive to the Pigeon Valley for panoramic view and one of the visit Under Ground City, where early Christians lived in fear and faith. The houses here are built around the settlement’s nearly 100 tunnels, and are still in use today as storage areas, stables, and cellars. Overnight stay in Cappadocia (B,L)
DAY 5- CAPPADOCIA- KUSADASI
After breakfast we will pick you up and transfer to Kayseri airport for your flight to Izmir. At Izmir airport we will pick you up and transfer to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B, D)
DAY 6 EPHESUS
Today will be short driving and more relax than the previous days, from Kusadasi to Ephesus is only 20 minutes driving distance. Mosque of Isa Bey from 14th century is going to be the first venue, afterwards we will be visiting ancient Ephesus; it is much larger than you expected. Even though, the history of Ephesus goes back to the 2nd Millennium BC. remains that you will be visiting start from the 3rd Century BC. such an important place for Jewish and Christian Heritage. St. Paul preached in the Great Theater, the conditions of Odeon Celsus library, marble road temples will surprise you very much. Open buffet lunch in a local Turkish restaurant. Proceed to shrine of Mother Mary, it is believed where she spent recent years of her life. Temple Of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of ancient World. Fashion show in leather outlet center. Overnight stay in Bodrum . (B, L)
DAY 7 BODRUM FREE DAY
After breakfast we will pick you up and private transfer to Bodrum, rest of day free for Leisure. (B)
DAY 8 BODRUM FREE DAY
Free day, you can explore the Bodrum city yourself or you can take optional Half day Bodrum city tour. (B)
DAY 9 BODRUM
Free day, you can explore the Bodrum city yourself or you can take optional Boat trip tour. (B)
DAY 10 DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to Bodrum airport for your flight to home country.
